Teak is great for the construction of both indoor and outdoor furniture. Teak's high oil content, strong tensile strength and dimensional stability makes it particularly suitable for outdoor furniture applications. Over time teak can mature to a silvery-grey finish.

High grade teak is used extensively in boat decks, as it is extremely durable, dimensionally stable and requires very little maintenance.

At Timbuktu Timber we import teak from around the world to the United States. We strive to own the wood as early as possible in an effort to eliminate middlemen.
